School Based Health Programs of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston

The School Based Health Programs in Wheeling and Weirton have designed this web site for principals and teachers in our Catholic Schools throughout West Virginia.  The site provides health related information, resources and educational tools for all ages.

Our professional teams recognize the link between nutrition, physical activity, and good health as direct links to students’ ability to achieve academically. The School Based Health Teams work to support the schools in helping students, teachers, staff and the community learn, establish, and maintain healthy life styles, attitudes and behaviors.

Our Registered Nurses and School Counselor are available for questions or comments. We welcome suggestions to enhance our efforts to bring health care to our Catholic Schools family.
